SNC-Lavalin Group, founded in 1911, has been active internationally for nearly 40 years establishing a multicultural network that spans every continent. The center of excellence for Thermal Powers is SNC-Lavalin Constructors Inc., located in Bothell, Washington with additional offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, Toronto, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Warsaw, Poland. The Thermal Power team’s expertise includes gas-fired combined cycle and cogeneration plants ranging from 26 MW to 2,250 MW, coal fired power stations and alternative fueled projects using biomass, tires, and municipal solid wastes. The team has successfully completed over 90 EPC power plants on a turnkey EPC basis.
The Bothell based Thermal Power Group (SNC-Lavalin Constructors Inc.)operates as an independent business unit reporting directly into the Office of the President of the SNC-Lavalin Group. While Thermal Power has the ability to draw on the worldwide talent and financial resources of SNC-Lavalin Group, it manages all aspects of its work using its proven processes and systems under ISO 9001 guidelines. With roots back to 1938, Thermal Power is considered a world leader in the turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of a broad range of thermal power projects.
